| I think it does. We have it on a 46 bowfront with goldies in it, so more filtration the better |

| They are really strong filters... create a ton of circulation.... Im not sure why yours is going backwards lars? I personally never had that problem, the only thing i could think if it was put together backwards?? but im sure you checked that. _________________ Sandnuka WFB Administrator

| Lars, Did you fill the cannister with water first? If not shut it off and fill it... Now open intake hose all the way up and slightly open the output... The water should start being sucked in and the air will be let out the Output hose, after all air bubbles gone open her wide open and she should flow like a river... Good luck.. Oh and you can sink hoses and fill them with water too sometimes this helps start things.. Hope this helps |

| I did that and it didnt work earlier ):
BUT THANK YOU ADDICTEDTOFISH! Thank you for being patient as mother screamed at me and 5 gallons of water flooded onto my sisters floor! I got the canister working and it is WORKIN like a horse! As soon as I turned it on the goldies were over swimming in the output hose. |

| theirs a line about 3/4 the way up on the housing fill it to there hook it all up and then turn it on let if run for a sec turn it off let it fill the rest of the way.. then turn it back on and then you should be all good... also make sure there not to much pressure putting the clamps on if there is something isn't aligning right there is a notch and in the lid and the housing that need to line up or you get a super flood... l |
