Stupid Dog

My dog tore her CCL while playing ball now she needs surgery, this knee surgery costs over 3k!!
This dog is nothing but trouble  good thing she is cute...

she also likes tutus

Pits are definitely worth $3k in surgery! I have a pitbull/dachshund that is to die for both in personality and appearance. Call some charities around the area to see if you can get financial help. There are a lot of rich people in Washington who love animals. Try rescues as well, as they might be able to help. Makes the pain of losing money a little better.

Lol, looking closely I see you also have an orange tabby. I have one as well, his name is Happy.

I like dogs with a half-colored face, they always look super cute!

I hope something works out to help you with the cost, I would have to surrender my cat to somewhere like PAWS if anything like that happened to her, because I could definitely not afford that right now...

I know how those large vet bills feel, a real pain. But we have our pets for a reason, to be a part of our lives, and we will do whatever it takes to help our family.

Orange tabbys FTW! And sorry to hear about the unexpected vet bills! I hope your pit makes it through soon! I went through crazy vet bills with my orange tabby trying to help her cope with cancer for as long as was humane, only to loose her a short time after. Still it was all worth it, so I can imagine how it is worth it taking care of your pit in this case! She has that look that makes your wallet melt

Sorry to hear of your dog's troubles (along with your wallets). We had a dog that got hit by a car (before we understood about letting dogs run loose and when we lived in the country). His pelvic bone was broken. No surgery but he lived on a sheet for a month...we had to pick him up and carry him out in the sheet and lay it on the ground, help him up so he could potty. The things you do for your animals. He recovered and lived to ripe old age.

We went through this surgery with our lab years ago, it was a lot cheaper back then.

ouch. that sucks for both of you. she's a beautiful pit. i'm sure she's worth it.

hope you pit feels better! you should check around for better prices.. then come back to the place u prefer and ask for a better deal. youd be surprised what you can get when u butter em up a little bit first

on a side note: got a friend about to have a litter of pit bulfs aka pit bull / wolf cross. i believe hes looking to sell em im not sure, completely legal w/ no prior permits for "hybrids" anyways just pm if interested, this seemed like a decent place to put it.

If you plan on ever moving into an apartment, a condo, or a community with a restrictive covenant, don't do it. Not many of them will appreciate that you own a wolf hybrid, much less one hybridized with an already notorious breed (whether the reputation is deserved or not, most housing management see pit bulls as a huge liability)

Also, I just have to point out, why is your friend breeding any type of dog when there are millions of dogs at any given time who are up for adoption? Isn't that a little selfish, adding to the overall problem just to make a little money?

lol first off its bad to spay a female wolf (not quite sure) and he was too cheap to fix the pit bull. and this isnt my pet so you dont need to go all bob barker on me. just seemed like an appropriate place to post the info. as to why hes breeding them it was more of a negligent accident.

again i hope your pit bull gets better from his injury.

I hope your baby is ok. It's amazing what we will do for our pets. Our bulldog had to have a nose job so he could breathe better. Haha! It was a speedy recovery...

After this surgery I don't think we would be able to afford a puppy. Because Honey is over 80lbs we have to go to a specialist that does large dogs  she doesn't seem like she is in a lot of pain so we are hoping that we can wait and save up some money first.

Honey isn't allowed to jump on the couch, so now she has to share a pillow with the kittens.
