I feel foolish, but...

Does anyone here enjoy the new(ish) fad of Trap music? I have to admit I really like stuff by some of the electronic 'trap' artists like Heroes x Villains, Diplo, Yellow Claw, RL Grime, Flosstradamus and others... I know at my age I should not be into this sort of music, but I almost want to go see Bro Safari in Portland, OR for his blackout tour later this year. His mixes are some of my favorite, and they must be pretty intense live!

Anyone else like this new 'trap' electronic scene that has taken over? Or do you feel it is terrible and annoying, as in my heart I know I should feel?

Not quite my Cup of tea, but I had some students last year that liked "trap". Then again I also had students last year that liked "space unicorn" and " duck at the lemonade stand" so I'm ok with it all, but don't have anything on my playlist.



And yes the link you posted is definitely intense.

Like Dubstep, some are good...many are...well, as lloyd put it, not my cup of tea.

Diplo was my favorite artist for a long time until recently, I have found that lately his stuff has been much more commercial and not as creative or stylish. But I still love his Diplo & Friends radio show, lots of good DJ's he has on including ones that I mentioned and lots that I haven't even heard yet.
