Spyral i feel your pain.. Evil or Very Mad I got a call from my dad in Albany Oregon last night.. Someone broke into the Storeage facility he keeps all his classic/show cars in, and and 2 nights ago someone cut through the rear gate and stole his enclosed car hauler with his 1932 Ford Roadster, 1936 Mullins trailer, and all his show stuff inside.. Almost $100,000 worth !!! I hope they shoot the bastard that stole it !!!

that totally blows, mang.
crime like that, usually involves someone who has ventured onto that property.
i mean, how can they simply drive off, easily?

That's what i was thinking.. Plus how do you just walts out of a storeage facility with a friggin HUGE White car hauler and not get noticed.. At night or not, and the gate they broke into was right on the main road.. Evil or Very Mad My guess is they headed to Cali, or AZ or Wa in the middle of the night before it got reported stolen at 8am when the place opened..

Sucks man. We had a 1989 Ferrari Testarossa Berlinetta stolen from our garage in NY about 15 years back. The car was finally found in Germany about 3 years later.

That's crazy, i just got off the phone with my dad and he told me a buddy of his told him the same thing.. The easiest way to move one of these cars is a shipping container and over seas it goes.. Sad I hope he gets it back, but i'm not holding my breathe.. Sad

There was a story onthe new a while back, some kid got his corvette stolen in like 1960-70, and they found the car 30 years later under a tarp in a cargo container yard in perfect condition, I gotta see if I can find the story. Looked like the theifs forgot they had it.

Yea that's the one that got stolen.. They got the car and the small trailer behind it, and they were both in the 24' white trailer..

Those types of car reminds me of a red farm tractor on small wheels.
Does your father always keep that item in the trailer? If not, thieves must have been stalking for the right time.

It just really depends on time of the year and if he has any show to do.. He has it in the garage most the time but had it in the trailer for a few weeks to work on the garage.. Sad. Alot of people down there know that car and trailer due to all the shows and stuff he does. It's been in the paper a few times down there too.
