Ive been looking for what seems like ever to try and find a Parkinsons rainbow fish  bounce  bounce . Ive been asking cory for a couple months but they never seem to be able to order them. If anyone knows a good place/website that they get rainbow fish from, and would like to share that would be greatly appreciated!!  beerchug

Try asking Gary Lang at the meeting on Tuesday. Sounds like he's an expert on all things rainbow fish.

Keep an eye on aquabid and wetspot, neither have them listed at the moment. My first choice would be to post here in the eggs-change and possibly get some from a breeder.

Hi Killybeys,

+1 for Nick_87's comment about asking Gary Lange at either of the GSAS meetings on Sunday (members only) or Tuesday (guests welcome).  Gary can probably help you locate quality strains of the species from breeders (who may have eggs and/or fry) as opposed to Asian fish farm raised fish.

Thats what i was thinking about doing! I was planning on attending his meeting about rainbowfish coming up!! And i would love to buy some fish that are locally bred. And im sure if he recommends something it must be good!

Have you ordered online before? For some reason im really skeptically about having fish shipped.

Yes, many times. If you think about it, almost all fish have been shipped. Some multiple times before they reach your LFS. Choose a reputable seller/shipper you should have no problem. For rainbowfish I prefer to buy eggs and raise fry.
