i've had my ruby red peacocks for a few years now and i finally have a successful spawn. i stripped the female a little early because she was acting very hungry. she would dart into the middle of the food and bump into the pellets at feeding time. she looked really torn between spitting her brood and getting a bite to eat. got about 30 fry still attached to their egg sacks. i think she was about 16 days along. hopefully the fry will be ok. i have them in a breeder box with a little air blowing on them at the moment. i was wondering if i would ever get some peacock fry. i'm stoked.

little guys are doing great. only lost one so far and that was the day i stripped them. it's funny watching these little guys squirm around trying to swim with their egg sacs.

i can absolutely set a nice one aside for you. no problem at all. just have to figure out how to get it to you. never shipped before, although i kept all the boxes from my shipments.

oh yeah, thanks for all the congrats. i'm really proud to finally get a spawn. this female has been a bad holder so far. probably had 15 attempts before she got it right and all my other females have sadly passed away.
