I wouldn't expect to be able to shield my children from everything but they certainly wouldn't be allowed to play games with such violence until they're old enough, old enough to be able to distinguish right from wrong. But hey if you find it's acceptable to allow very small children to play games where they slaughter people with axes then that's your choice, but if I had a four year old she'd be playing blues clues or the backyardagains, something that doesn't promote violence. Just my $.02
