Happy Haps
I have not posted a pic in a while so here is a few of my "Copadichromis borleyi Nkhata Bay". Yes 2 frisky males in one tank with at least one producing female. They tangle but there is enough hiding places it works out and keeps them showing off their colors.

Re: Happy Haps
This is a pair of gorgeous fish. I keep getting closer and closer to establishing a Malawi tank! You're nudging me with these photos. I used to keep them 30 years ago when they were starting to hit the American market. I gotta get back into them!
Thanks for the post!

Thanks. I tried to keep the colors as accurate as possible. Just got a new lens to play with too.

Using my Nikon D90 with an 80-200 lens and an off camera flash for those. Shot at night to keep all the reflections down to a minimum.

Nice job and nice equipment!
I need to get to know my equipment better. I'm using a Sony DSLR-A350 with one of those all in one lenses. Its got a ton of features that I need to get acquainted with. But I need to get a flash off the camera set up.

Re: Happy Haps
That's a good tip to shoot at night to cut down on reflections. Fairly common sense, but it hadn't occured to me.

Re: Happy Haps
The camera is nice, but I used to get some amazing shots with my old 4mp Cannon G2 camera. One thing that helped is to put a layer of tissue paper over the flash on the camera so it does not make a real hot shiny spot on the fish.

Nice looking borleyi, Paintguy! They don't look like they've been too rough on each other.
