P. saulosi coloring up
These pictures show a little bit of their stages of coloring up. I started with only five and built their numbers up by saving fry from the spawns. The male to female ratio of the fry was very heavy on the males. I couldn't keep them all, but I do have seven that stay colored up all of the time.

Re: P. saulosi coloring up
Thank you!
If you count the three 10 gallons crammed full of bristlenose youngsters, I have 14 tanks running.
I'm not salvaging any fry from the saulosi any more. I used to keep them in their own 38 gallon species tank, but there were too many males for that small of a tank, so I got rid of some and moved the rest of them into a 60 gallon with other mbuna. I've seen several of the females holding, but let them spit in the tank now.
