I was wondering who built the lego's when I was seeing them around the tanks. Then I got to the last pic. Every pic is awesome and the Lego town reminds me kind of Leavenworth Awesome job on all!

AWESOME! Getting little starters from you from Plant it Forward and randomly at plant swaps have inspired my hobby to new levels. I now totally get your screen name, HAH!
All your tanks totally rock. The little jungle tanks, the well thought out planted 12's ,those plants you don't see much, (the red/crimson plant growing out of the tank, *drool). Denison barbs are a fav, even the big fish in the 125 are coOl.
Thanks for sharing hobbyorobsession.

A real man moves his severums between the two 125 gallon tanks every 3 months to test his plant growing skills. It's like unleashing godzilla on a small town.
Re: a few quick photos For FishNaBowl
Beautiful tanks...what is the red plant in the pic above? Do the plants naturally grow out of the water like that? Simply stunning!

Thank you everyone for the compliments, the red plant above the waters surface is ludwigia glandulosa ( used to be called ludwigia peruensis) the tank is very shallow so a lot of my plants make there way out of the tank. then they get the chop.

What species of geophagus is that? I'll hopefully be getting some Geophagus sp. "Rio Pindare" next week, and they kinda look like that photo, unless I've been spying the wrong fish for the last two weeks. It could also be a red head, which I've been eyeballing too.

Re: a few quick photos For FishNaBowl
Don't be insulting to it ... much too pretty to be called a redhead, it's an Tapajos 1, aka orangehead tapajos.
Pindare's are very nice, but not quite as colorful as orangeheads imo.

Is their max length roughly 5"? Or has the internet lied about fishes again?

hobbyorobsession, can you tell me much about the group dynamics of the Geo Red Heads? I just got 4 little beauties on Thursday, and they seem to be mean little f'ers...They even try to bully the acara in the tank.

I believe they like schools of 6+, I have them with big uglies, so at best they get picked on.
