Somewhere, I cannot find it, Chad you mentioned that you were beginning to think about Frontosa. Have you looked at these guys? I love them...

Ive been researching for about 40 minutes. Nice link Donna. Definitely peeked my interest on this. I'm learning as much as I can on this species now. Seems like these are a mean fish but beautiful they are! Thank you for posting this!

Glad you liked the info...I am sure you will/can find much more on them.  

The statement "then grow to maturity and kill anything that crosses its path. Even in a species tank it is difficult to maintain these fish." is certainly something to consider. Demasoni cichlids have a bad reputation also. And it is probably a good idea to not be a beginning fish keeper or even beginning cichlid keeper with these types of fish.

They are beautiful fish and very much like the larger frontosa in appearance.
