Are the puffers in freshwater or brackish?

I do like the decor done to mimic an ocean environment, and the puffer is the perfect occupant to pull that one off in.

That variety of puffer many times is raised in FW, I am glad to see you have done your homework study and I really do like the saltwater look, just keeps people guessing. People (Non-fish people) ask if my fish are salt when they first see them, probably the big orange Midas makes them think that. Then again Ive had others call him a "goldfish"

I have been thinking about getting a puffer myself but am leaning toward one of the lazy, ugly types, that can live out their life in a 29g. So I'm leaning toward a Congo or Mekong puffer. But that will wait until my 210g is done, I need to get my fish moved over still and some additional stock need to be added. I started a post about puffers looking for info and experiences (predator section), would like to get your input on them.
