I love that last pic... with the plants above, the logs and mixed gravel make it look like a wild river/lake shot! and gotta comment on pic #3, your red terrors are just amazing!!

i searched for a long time. i picked up 5 festae fry from kevin at a place for pets. ended up losing two of them, gave one of them to a friend. and i have one male and one female from those 5. then i picked up a wild caught female from a friend, and another wild caught female from APFP. then my large pair i got from another member on here. i am always willing to pick up more festae, i am absolutely addicted to them. i have not seen any more now in about 3 or 4 months.

i do have one pair that are now pretty friendly with each other. im thinking the temps fluxuate a little to much for them to spawn. i am hoping in the next couple months when the temps outside go down that maybe i can keep it at a steady 82 and they will spawn.

Oh cool, put me on the list for fry if they do mate. How much do they cost for a pretty good sized one?

do a 20% cool water change just cool not cold

i put them together for awhile, and the female was just tearing the male apart. i was doing some reading and found out that its not good to have the female bigger. she is not that much bigger, but a little. so i paired him up with my 8 inch female. they are looking good together. just being patient now.

i got both my wild caught females for 30 at about 6 inches. not sure what it is now.. been along time since i seen any in stores or on lists.
