Finally got my fluval spec V set up after buying it from another fish boxer. Was gunna go with shrimp but decided my betta needed a bigger home so i load it up with some plants and here we have it! just thought id share. Its nice to not have a big bulky heater in there either!!

Looks nice! How is your betta handling the flow? When I had a betta in mine I cut a slit in the rubber return tube and put a little sponge over the overflow. The dummy would like to rest on the overflow and get his fins all mangled.

He likes to do the same thing but it's not affecting his fins. Sadly I tried to breed him and the female I got ripped all his fins off. But other than that he's fine. I also have 2 African dwarfs frogs in there now and they do ok.
