OMG... Can I have it? This guy is freaking amazing. The tanks size wise are no joke either. I should think you would have to snorkel to plant tanks like these.

Yes Takashi Amano is an aquascape genius. I love watching his vids.

I love the floorplan... climb up the stairs and get distracted by 14 foot tank... get to the top of the stairs to look at it... and go WTF when you see the 24' tank off to the side. Cause you know... 14' of 3000 gallons isn't quite enough! We just had to throw 24' of 2500 gallons of water to the side to match the floors!

I had to do the math for the number of gallons to realize how insanely large these things are!

A bit more info I found on the location here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Takashi Amano has a special gift...the ability to take a cube of glass and turn it into a piece of living art. His aquariums are indescribably beautiful and serene. They are scapes and places you want to just lose yourself in.

If you haven't watched a "build" video of his yet...do. He has assistants, headphones, minute plants, stones all over the floor...it is amazing and in the matter of a day he will bring together an amazing aquascape.

The video mentions the ferns attaching within 40 days...that to me is a feat itself. And I love the background behind that tall tank...the pale blue rockwork or tile...I'm not sure how that effect is occuring...if it is a natural effect of the water against tile/rock behind it or if the wall has some color there to add to the effect. Gorgeous.

Thanks for sharing as I always love seeing Mr. Amano's work.
