Somewhat true. Well with the algae on the glass. I tend to wipe down the front of my 36 gallon 1-2 times a month. I very rarely touch the back glass.

Of course, I usually do a before and after picture.

haha Story of my life! I didn't know small(ish) fish could poo so much! I spend more time cleaning pleco poo than algae scraping any day.
