40 Breeder Planted Tank
This tank all summer was neglected and it was literally covered with dust hair algae and spot algae that was so thick, you couldn't see through it.
Problems were the light was nearly surface level, I hadn't had time to devise a way to raise the 4 t5HOs. And I fiertilized the crap out of the substrate. =)
As a result I lost a good majority of my rare plants. but still have the the following scraps that are starting to recover.
Alternanthera reineckii mini
ALTERNANTHERA sp. red round
Ammania Gracilis
Blyxa
Bucephandra
Crypt Wendtii
Downoi - Pogostemon helferi
echinodorus vesuvus (curly chain sword)
Glosso
hornwort
Hydrocotyle SP Japan
Hydrocotyle Verticillata'
Hygrophila
Java fern
Limnophila Aromatica wavy
Ludwigia Glandulosa, Peruensis
lindernia rotundifolia variegated
Ludwigia palustrus
Marsilea Minutia
Micranthium Umbrosum
MossesĀ
Pellia
ranunculus inundatus
Riccia
Rotala Rotundilfolio
Rotala Indica True - Ammania Bonsai
Rotala Macrandra
Rotala macrandra 'green'
Rotala macrandra 'Mini Type 2'
Star Grass
Staurogyne repens
Saururus cernus
Subwasertang
Taiwan Moss
Tiger Lilly
Trident Java fern
Anubias nana petite
After some serious elbow grease, scrubbed out the tank, filters, added two water pumps, raised my lights as well as put them on two different timers for only a full blast of light for 2hrs out of the 7 total hrs. Things are finally in balance and now the plants are growing in real nice. I added a ton of snails to control the algae problem but they are causing some collateral damage and I've introduced some assassins to help clean up the clean up crew.

yes on CO2, the tank just ran out this morning. Which reminds me I need to refill it. =)
Everything looks really scraggly, I'll scape it once they plants start to fill out a bit.

How do you keep track of so many species in one tank? And do you have any shots of the star grass? I'm wondering how different it is from guppy grass.
