Interesting, I wonder if purigen breaks down from friction of rubbing against eachother 24/7

It's all too complicated for me but I will be interested to see if it works. I keep hearing about Purigen and how good it works...this seems to take it to the 100th floor. Good luck.

BillHN, wow that's cool. When I see these at the hardware store I think how I could use this in the hobby. A current project is DYI CO2 Reactors, this is really neat. Thank you for sharing this. I have a feeling I could DYI this into a reactor as well with a drill and threaded tap.

things that make you go, hummmm

sweet...looks like others were thinking along the same lines as me...I just gotta find a way to keep the purigen from flowing out the outlet...my unit appears to be sealed- but this will not stop me!

ive had good luck with it in small amounts, and the constant rubbing doesn't appear to cause problems in the bag I hang in front of my power head...

one thing I noticed is its hard to recharge the bags consistently cuz when you drop the pouches in bleach/water you don't get good waterflow through the interior of the bag. the fluidized bed purigen reactor should present no such problem....

id like to run water softening resins in it too...but they recharge in different ways and I have concerns about if I can recharge to two products together
