was this a good deal?
Just picked up a proven pair of geophagus from bridges(my work) after witnessing spawnage. I paid $24 with my discount and they are 4 inches and 7 inches. Is this a good deal? Not sure but they are sure pretty. A customer brought them in about a month ago. Not sure what kind of geo they are ,but i'll have to take some pics.

Re: was this a good deal?
Your Geos look like Geophagus brasiliensis. They are the cheapest of the Geos, so what you paid is about the going price. Don Conkel is selling 7 inchers for $20.

im not sure if thats what I have though, as we have some at work that are geophagus brasiliensis and they look nothing like these, unless they are mislabled.

Thats what I was going off. Even if they are fairly common they become worth a bit more when the "proven pair" title is added. Nice Fish!

The best indication of a good deal is if you are happy ....who cares about the rest?

Re: was this a good deal?
but you did pay a fair price, you didn't over pay for them, and like Bassett man said its whatever you want if you love them and you think they're awesome then it was worth it
