Before and After Planted Tank
Here are the before and after shots of my first planted tank.... Finally got it to how I want it... its already startin to grow.... and notice the fake plants in pic number 1... heh... Not a single fake or non-aquatic plant in pic number 2! Also, the lights! Nice and bright for happy, healthy plants!

Cool, remember that will drop your ph especially at night when plants are not absorbing the Co2...
Gonna be sweet when that takes off.. How many tanks you got now?

Re: Before and After Planted Tank
actually that is exactly what I needed to happen for the discus.... they like 6.5 for breeding ..... I actually only got 4 tanks in the house... taking more down than puttin any up. lol.... It looks like I am gaining tanks, but when a new one goes up.... a couple older ones go into the garage.... I will have a lil' mini hatchery goin up one day!! thats the plan in the long run, but got some time until any of my fish are ready to breed.

Nice job. I have a brown thumb when it comes to aquatic plants. Even my fake plants turn brown and fall apart - seriously!

Re: Before and After Planted Tank
Actually... i had that long spray bar in there to slow circulation... my discus like still water... In my latest picture that i just posted you can see I took it back down a little bit and added a smaller HOB... I still gonna do something different with it... some sponges... just waitin for them to come from china... lol
