Hello From Lake Stevens
Hi everyone,
My name is Crystal and I am obviously new to the forum though I have been browsing and reading on here quite a bit lately. I currently have a 150g, two 55g's, and a few smaller tanks. Most of my fish are from a local reputable breeder who has been a great help to me in getting my own fish hobby going. The fish I currently have are : C. Moorii Blue Dolphin fry (in their own tank), 2 young Venustus (looking to rehome), Protomelas Taeniolatus Likoma Island "Tangerine Tiger", Copadichromis borleyi "Kadango", and Protomelas sp. Spilonotus Tanzania "Liuli".
I plan to purchase some Moba Frontosa fry this next week and will be buying another larger tank within the next 6 months for them. They will go in a 55g for now.
That's all for now...nice meeting you all

Re: Hello From Lake Stevens
I will try to get some pics up tonight. I just rehomed all of my Mbunas and am setting up that 55 downstairs with my other tanks. I actually moved my bedroom to my downstairs rec room so that I could enjoy my 150. My landlord wasn't too thrilled with it being upstairs in the living room so I decided if my tank had to go down, so would I. Thanks for the welcome:)

Re: Hello From Lake Stevens
Here are a few of the fish in the 150...the big Blue and yellow is the male Liuli. His name is Lathrop; the Red and Blue is the only male Kadango that has colored up so far, and the small blue is my oldest Blue Dolphin. His name is Mr. Unckles (hopefully he is really a "he"). I just did a water change so things are a bit stirred up in the tank

Thank you...I am placing my order this week for them. Just waiting on the breeder to email me back so I can arrange payment. Whereabouts in Spokane do you live? I lived there for 9 years...

Welcome Ceejai. Very nice looking fish. I am not into the Africans, but do enjoy looking at them on occasion. I mean I have too really, my son has an African tank. LOL

Welcome! I like those purple fish with the orange fins in the third picture. Not sure what they are called, but I bet they keep your attention when they are zipping around.

Thank you, everyone for the welcome. lloyd378, I believe the fish you were referring to are the Kadangos...The C. Moorii was in front of a Kadango in that 3rd shot but the Kadangos have more of a grey body with orange fins until they color up then they are a nice red with a blue face. Only one has colored up so far and it is in one of the pics. One of the most exciting aspects of this hobby is getting to see the fish change and get their color

They look very similar to a Rueban Red Peacock. Very nice.

They are beautiful fish. I have gotten most of my stock from Jeff Schulstrom (GoBlue is his name on here, I think). Jeff has been a huge help to me with this hobby. Great fish guy...
