Very pretty, my group is busy attempting to eat each other. My smallest one lost her entire tail but she's recovering. If you get any offspring maybe we could do a swap to mix up the genes a bit.

Very nice
Is the male in breeding colors or does he look that way all the time? Hows the aggression compared to a typical convict?

Re: honduran red points
I've got some, all of them are a gorgeous neon ice blue except for the two lowest in the pecking order. I believe that's their coloring most of time and it just intensifies when breeding. Aggression with these guys isn't too bad as far as cichlids go. I've never owned a convict but my guys only seem to really pick on the lowest in rank if they try and enter their territory. For the short time I've had them I have not witnessed any behavior where they were trying to bully a fish to death, like my jewels did.
I have one separated recovering from having her whole tail taken off, but she's super small compared to the rest, was bound to happen when they had to establish a new pecking order. To say the least they're an absolutely gorgeous fish, I wasn't going to get any until I saw them in person and decided a tank had to go up for them.
