Tankmates
Well I think I found some tankmates to go in the 210 with my oscars. I'm looking at a peaceful texas. I attached a picture of him and his other buddies. The Barred Midas is for sale as well. Let me know what you guys think.

I like the little GT. The Texas looks a little plain, but hard to tell from the pic.

That Texas, if a Texas, looks like it has a lot of something else in it.

I think I'm going to pass on the texas. He's wants 30. I have enough troubles with my oscars. It looks like they have hole in the head. I guess 2 50 percent water changes a week isn't enough. I have always done at least to a week. Sometimes this hobby sucks and it's really sucks right now.

I like the terror. Would it work out with oscars? I really don't want fighting.

They get Hikari Cichlid Gold most of the time. They also get shrimp, krill and I just started giving them earthworms.

Re: Tankmates
Oscars are known to be easily susceptible to hole in the head. I wonder if the fact that these fish are so inbred is part of the cause. I have been feeding a very mixed diet including many veggie based products. I feel like the major thing missing in a lot of fish diets is insects which are usually full of veggie matter. So I try to include both items in the diet.
