khulis eat snails?

Got some khulis from Ron(thanks ) and I was going to toss them in my mothers tank when I realized there was trumpet snails in that tank. Are these guys a snail eater? I'll be setting up a community tank tomorrow that I won't put snails in if they are a snail eater.

What I've read on them is a mixed answer on that. Supposedly they will, but tons of hobbiests that say thier's didn't. They sure are neat looking little guys though One tip that I read was that any botia will eat snails. GL

Those Kuhlis were in a tank with a bunch of snails and I don't remember seeing them eat any.

And yes, most of the Botias do.

i bought 10 kuhlis thinking they would keep snails in check in my planted tank. didn't work, so i bought assassin snails and they do the job great, and the kuhlis ignore them too. still love my kublis though.
