K1 Kaldnes media
Is there anywhere local that I can purchase this? Has anyone used this and is this as good as some people say?

i want to use some of this media too... but unfortunately you need can purchase this in UK or from people from ebay or from a pond supplies stores... i heard that this is a very good media. better than activated carbon and bio chips.. really expensive tho...

Looks like you typically use this media to create a large bio pellet reactor for ponds.

you can put this in a sump or use it as a media in your canister filter.

Interesting! Im not sure how its so much more efficient tho! The media dosent look any more dence then the media we use in our Hobby!
Is it the process that is used thats the difference!
They showed cylenders full of water and they run large amounts of air like a bubbler at the base of the cylenders!
Even thou for the media to constantly stay in suspended in the water the media would have to be fairly light i guess!!
Any one have any ideas or insight on something i might have missed?
