FLR - read the 3rd post in this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] when you get a chance, it'll tell you how to post photos in the forum. I suspect you'll get a better response if you can do that. I'm sure there are several folks on here that can help; Jeff (gobluecichlids) has been selling plecos here for a while and immediately comes to mind.

Ah, it isn't obvious is it? Click on the word "thread" to be taken there.

Actually it was not "that" obvious, It took me a minute to see it when my pointer passed over the word. Should have changed to color of the word "thread"
So where is the pleco pic so we can ID it?

Looks like whoever setup the forum set the default hyberlink text to match normal text instead of stand out. Pretty annoying really.

Re: Pleco ID
Looks to be a L001 or L022 which are both considered the same. I cant remember where I read it but the ones that are just spotted are the L022 and the others where the spots seem to connect are the L001. Not 100% sure on that but just stuck in the back of my head.
I had an L001 in my tank for three years with some big cichlids and it did well. These guys are very tough and mine was out a lot. Also nice is that they dont get huge like a common. Mine was 9" after 3 years growing out in 120g.
Here is some more info on it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: Pleco ID
Ron,
Are the pictures with the pleco part of your set up? I like the look of the racking. Are we going to see some pictures of the set up you have going?

Re: Pleco ID
I tell you what, DMD! I'll send you pix and you can put them up for me if you'd like to. I'm just not taking time out right now to learn how. So when Alex offered to put the Pleco up I took him up on it. I'll attach them to a gmail to you....!
