Salvation Army Adopt-A-Family?
I usually donate a meal to a family in need each Christmas but this year I wanted to go through the salvation army. I was looking at Salvationist.com(i think) and all the programs for the adopt a family program are either located in Oregon or Idaho, at least according to their site. Anyone know if the salvation armys in WA do this program or something similar? I know you can donate food and money but I wanted to donate a meal as well as gifts to a family.

Oh yeah they're all over the place, some centers and some donation drop off places. I willing to go to a "like" organization if they have an adopt a family program.

yes you can!
I work for The Sali. We have many locations through out washington. You will want to contact salvation army social services at 206-441-9944. They can direct you to the adopt a family services.
You can also donate to our Rehabilitation center in seattle. We service 115 men and women who are in residential treatment helping to rebuild their lives from the perils of drug and alcohol addiction. Our number is 206-587-0503.
Thanks for thinking of us!
God bless.
