If your wondering its scientific name, it is Parachromis Costa Rican Blue Dovii.

how about enorme-lobo as a nickname? my Spanish may be a little rusty, but I think i remember this translates roughly to huge wolf.....

Is your Blue Dovii Ginormus like Mels? I like the blue color better than the gray brown colors most often seen in the trade.

The Dovii that is most common out there is the Nicaraguan, mine is a Costa Rican. The Costa Rican's have so much more blue in them.

Mels Dovii, as you saw was freakin huge, about 27" long, and almost 12" tall. My guy is about 21" long and about 8" tall. He still has a ways to go to reach Mel's.

Is this that Bifa? Or sumin different? Its so good lookin either way I like the body shape and the red specks in it.
