Hey Kaosu!
Thanks for putting up the video. I like how you divided your 10g. Gave me ideas of how to get more efficient use of my rack space. You planted nicely too.
Looking forward to trading when I get home.

thank you!..it started out as just my cray / shrimp tank..the divider was to keep my cray from noming all of my plants...than i got these guys^_^
Ill be dividing up the 20 longs the same way for the killis,
The plants used to be thicker had a huge mat of parrot feather all along the back but it suddenly melted away on me when i put a heater in the tank..but they are loving there new lilly and the guppy grass is growing in nicely., hope fully it will fill out soon!.
cant wait to do some trading with you! still no sign of the parasite!!!
so happy^_^.....
i bet they will be happier in there 20 rather than a little cramped like they are..i was not expecting them to start breeding like this..and they are at it again!.
My cam is not the best..so the video is bad and..cant get it to focus Ill try borrowing a better one!

I just showed that video to my wife... I have never takin an intrest to killies before, but that is intresting. I wonder if you can just buy dry eggs? He said at the end of the video, just add water.

you can!,,,infact that is how most people get them..you can buy them in packages and hatch them at home..most of the ones you can buy like that are annuals...that only live about a year max.
the lyretails i have and the gardniri both live to be 3 + years old.

Re: Golden lyretail killifish
That video is 'way cool...!
We had a thread on Airstone a while back. One of the things I learned was that you don't always get the eggs of fish you think you're going to get when ordering. Another thing is that "annuals" may live longer than a year in the aquarium.
Until I get better and learn more of how to care for killies I want to trade with and buy from our local hobbiests.

Re: Golden lyretail killifish
Hey! They really look nice! I've decided not to keep on with killies at this time. I need the space for some angels and other cichlids. I'll still give you some of mine if you still want them. We just have to figure a way to meet up. Ron

Re: Golden lyretail killifish
Kaosu, if you're selling shrimp, I'd be interested as well. If you're meeting someone else, I can probably meet you at the same time to save you time.
Re: Golden lyretail killifish
