On the flip side of this, you have to think that the general public doesn't understand that the baby turtles don't STAY baby turtles. I had a lady getting a whole bunch of stuff for a five gallon tank then try to tell me she was putting a red ear slider in it... "But it's only this big!" she said. I've found that when they're bigger when sold, they're healthier. That's just my experience though. They're damn cute, I'll give you that, but most people don't care enough to research before they buy... that two inches can easily turn into 18.
