Kids these days... Empty Kids these days...

Oy, my 12 year old brother in law has two of his friends over, both of them are acting like they're wanna-be gang bangers (sagging their pants, sideways caps, the "Yo dawg" and using the NES gun sideways[yes my in-laws still have a working NES!] and both of these kids are white lol). Kids like this just make me want to grab them by the back of the neck and shake them until some sense shows up. I've been really tempted when they've visited in the past to inform them the meaning behind sagging their pants, but as their young, and not my kids I've refrained, barely.

So while they're here I'm bunkered down in my room, I figure avoidance is the best policy to avoid murder charges ROFL

Just continue to be a positive role model. They will eventually get it.

I think you should take them aside and smack them a little, and then smack their parents. Very Happy

I have a 10, 8, and 3 year old. All boys. I agree with D, a good role model can be everything to a developing young man.... on another note, I agree with madness, a good whack on the side of the head has taught many lessons over the years... good luck!

Fortunately these two don't come over very often, or I probably would smack them a few times lol

I would dress up just like them so they can see how stupid they look. I can't believe the pants on the ground thing is still happening. Hoped that fad would go by really quick. On the other hand it does help cops catch those trying to run away.
