such thing as bubble overkill???
i was wondering if there is a overkill on bubbles in a tank because i just got my 75 up and going and my old air pump was just a little cheap like 5$ one and i was at petsmart like a week ago and bought a new one for a steal of a deal its for a 170 gal has 4 out lines and its adjustable so i wanted to know if it would be bad to hook all of them up or just use like one or 2 for my 75 gal
and what i have for bubbles is a volcano thing is the only thing going right now but i have like these tube things from my new under gravel that i guess you put air stones in idk if thats what makes the undergravel work or what but there is 4 of those so idk if i need to use them or what all input is appreciated thanks

You can't really over oxygenate but you can create too much of a current for your fish. as long as the bubbles don't over take your whole tank and your fish have room to swim freely you will be good.

Re: such thing as bubble overkill???
You can try the four for like 30 mins or so and if it looks like he is bothered by it and if he is just hook up like two. I have a 50-55 gal and i have two hooked up, I dont usually see 4 hooked up in a tank unless its really big. but like i said just see if your baby arowana is bothered by it and if he cant swim and rest properly then lower the amount of bubbles.

Are you just talking about the tubes that pump air underneath your gravil or you talking about Undergravel Filters? I know more about undergravel filters. If you specify a little more I may be able to help you
