He won't eat or close his mouth. He's the runt at the moment. I've dropped small pellets in front of his face but he put them in his mouth and spits them right back out(probably because he doesn't close his mouth).

I picked the green terror up Saturday and I haven't seen him eat at all. Should I be worried??

Still hasn't eaten. I'm thinking of bringing him back to try again. Thoughts??

Was hoping somebody would chime in and give you a answer that knows
More then myself. I have never heard about this before so I looked it up.

It sounds like lockjaw, and from what I found, there is nothing you can do
About it. The fish will eventually die from it.

You can do some google searches on lockjaw in fish, there are some interesting
Threads on other forums about it. Hope this helps.

i had a green terror once that did the same kind of thing. mouth wouldnt close, wouldnt eat.
one day i noticed what looked like blood in its mouth. once i netted it and checked it out it appeared to have what looked like hole in the head. there were holes under the jaw facing downward and the holes seemed to grow upwards into the meat of the head.

i wacked it befor it could spread.
not for sure HITH but i wasnt takin any chances.
