Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
I just loved the look of the metal framed tanks...that and rimless tanks, but I decided to go retro as my father in law also has a love for them. He has a copper framed tank! Try googling it... = mind blown!nick_76 wrote:lovin the biocube....curious when metal framed came back as the cool thing to have...had mine in 83...now im seeing them pop up all over the place

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
metal framed and rimless....cant get more different than that can we? copper would look nice clean, must be a bitch to polish on a regular basis...and treating fish with salt? forget it...a few runs of stray salted water down the frames mean green streaks....still, im sure it looks cool, especially with the right mix of fish

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Yeah his is just a 5g or something but would be fun for a special fish. I saw an amazing one on Ebay but can't find any pics or I would post one.nick_76 wrote:metal framed and rimless....cant get more different than that can we? copper would look nice clean, must be a bitch to polish on a regular basis...and treating fish with salt? forget it...a few runs of stray salted water down the frames mean green streaks....still, im sure it looks cool, especially with the right mix of fish

Re: SHOW OFF YOUR TANK!
Nothing new on mine, I did just add new substrate to the tank yesterday, so it's a bit cloudy. I ditched the Lane mtn stuff, while it's cheap it just flew around to much and I constantly found it in my canisters.. I ended up going with the seaflor special grade aragonite..
The rainbows are getting bigger, as are the fry.
