I should have learned from Halp that these Pictus catfish just do not do well being caught with a net. The first two sat on the edge of my catching device nice and content to move to another tank.... the 3rd one freaked and embedded his reverse spine fins into my net resulting in a cutting device to free him. Little pain in the butt was growling at me the whole time too. The net us still usable.. except for catching teteras.

I had that happen with a farowella cat, he loved out his days with a bit of net on his nose that never did come off.....

I actually considered that as lately I am used to lifting any new fish into my tank by hand so as to leave all the water and potential disease in the bag. Visions of bloody hands and an embedded fish hanging from them came to mind though.

There one I don't mess around with lol...if they ever get u though rub what ever part where they stung u on there bellies it will help the pain.. helps
