Eating lettuce

There was some mention of feeding lettuce to mbuna in another topic, so I thought I'd post a video of mine eating some. They tore into it so fast that it was almost all gone before I could get my camera out and turned on. I don't do it with any regularity, but once every couple of weeks or so, I try to give them some fresh veggies, usually lettuce.

They also like zucchini.

Even fish that you wouldn't think of feeding lettuce are interested in it and pick at it too.

I'm glad to see they are eating their veggies, it's one of the least expensive foods and very good for them. I feed veggies to my Tropheus all the time, they love sweet potatoes too plus it is high in fiber , you might wanna give it a try Very nice video too !

Cool video really colorful fish aswell. What are the fish called in the last picture those are pretty cool looking.

The fish in the last picture are Julidochromis transcriptus, they are a Lake Tanganyika cichlid.
