Bristlenose getting ready to spawn (video)

I've noticed that some of my females look a little beat up from time to time and figured it was the male doing it, but had never seen it before.  
Nothing fancy, just a plain video of them before they spawned.

I don't know how the two of them can fit inside that breeding log.

Wow that male has a huge amount of facial growth! Very cool, to be able to see the pre-spawn behavior. Thanks for sharing the video.

Wow! His bristles are huge! Very cool to watch this so I know what to expect!

I've wondered if the bristles ever stop growing!  I've had this male for at least...    seven years and he was already good-sized when I got him, although his bristles weren't nearly as developed back then.

No I was referring to mine. My male is half as big as my female.
