Bushy Nose vs. Bristlenose
These are the same fish right? I always thought so but sometimes I see both names used even in the same fish store.

I thought they were the same. Plecos have such a bad classification system. Same as rubber lip and rubber nose..WTF? Then you have the "L Numbers" to make it even more confusing.

Yea the bushynose and the bristlenose are the same thing, it's just different names people call them..

That's what I thought but for some reason when someone says Bushynose I think of a working class fish with a broom and cockney accent. When someone says Bristlenose I think of a high society fish with a powered wig making important decisions in parliment. Maybe the fact that they are really the same thing is some sort of commentary on how I subconsciously view (pleco) humanity.

The L# system is much better than going by common name, too many common names for each fish.
