The shape of the pond. I decided to put some shallow shelves on the side to put some plants in at another point in time.

Finished with water and some gravel! I am planning on putting alot of plants around it and add some finishing touches.

I measured when i put water in and its around 180 gallons. Was hoping it would be bigger but it will more than do. At the deepest point its a little under 3 feet. Its 7 feet long and 3 and a half feet wide. Ill update when i get all that done and put some fish in it!!!

Yeah...another inground pond.  Looks so awesome.  We had fun doing ours.  Did you put your swimsuit on when you filled it?  We did and that will be the biggest memory of the pond I think...it was too funny.  Can't wait to see the waterfall in action.  Wish I could have done one of those too.

Oh and I found out we did our terraces too deep really. You really only need 3 inches or so above your marginal plants so a 8" deep shelf would have been fine...ours were more like 12" and 14-15" probably. We had to put some rocks under our plants to bring them up to level where they should be. Just an FYI for other pond builders.

Thanks! And luckily my legs are long enough that I didn't have to haha. And ya I kinda planned on putting down some rocks on the shelves to give it a better look. And I gotta get a waterfall pump once I get paid. Everything for ponds is so overpriced it's crazy. The 10 by 13 foot pond liner was close to 70 bucks.
