Babies!!!
Just had my first batch of Cherry red shrimp hatch today. I am very excited I can't believe how small they are. Need to be more careful now when doing water changes.

Use airline tubing if you like to suck gunk up off the bottom.

Re: Babies!!!
congrats, i never even notice when mine have babies until they are about 1/4inch long because they are so hard to see when small. also very hard to get pics of the small ones, so i don't hold any grudge for the op not posting pics
Re: Babies!!!
Here are the pictures I had to take care of my child so I didn't have time to post them. I know very well no pictures and it didn't happen

I have had them for almost a month now and I have three others that are berried right now so very excited to see them hatch.

whheeeee awesome always epic when they're having babies....I'm waiting for my last of 4 to tell me it's gender......its either a boy and not developed yet or I have all girls :'( cause the other three are carrying perminant saddles. Rawr.
And Idk what's with the cherries in my other tank they're so teeny tiny. Good luck they should thrive!!

Re: Babies!!!
karawolf; i have plenty of males that seem to have good genes, if you are up north sometime i can give you some gratis
good job op, like i said i don't really see mine until they are a little bigger. i think they usually hide in my java moss until they are big enough to need more food. is yours in a shrimp only tank? mine also probably hide because of all the fishes

Re: Babies!!!
Congratulations. I just picked up my first CRS. I put them into a tank with plants and a couple of fish. Waiting to see how things evolve. Congrats again.

Re: Babies!!!
with just other shrimp, they should do perfectly fine. the only real danger would be other fish eating them, and since you don't have that, they should live long and prosper
