Using peat moss to lower PH levels?
I've heard of this, but has anyone used it and did it successfully lower the PH level in their aquarium?

Hi BrookAshley,
Actually, I would be inclined to try Alder cones the next time I need to lower PH. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that might help you decide.

I've used Peat, alder cones , catappa leaves(indian almond)
they all work and they can help infusoria..which help if you are breeding fish(food for babies)
just a note I was also using RO/DI filter for source water.
