Hillstream Loaches...HAVE TONGUES?!?!?!

Stumbled upon this video and I've never seen a hillstream loach do this before. Whoa.


EDIT: Upon reading the comments, the person stated that the fish had died due to a parasite... sad. :\

Yes it is a parasite, white kind? I'm unsure. But anywho... it's gross, and it's sad that there are parasites that would live in a fish's mouth. You'd think that because it's inside the fish's mouth that the fish would just gobble it up or something... I wonder what's preventing the fish from swallowing it up...

That's super crazy sh****!! Never seen that before.
