These guys are great parents and its so much fun to watch them take care of the babies. My pair has chased off fish 3x their size but alas they had a terrible showdown with my bristlenose pleco that ended in the demise of quite a few of the babies as the bristenose slapped around from being bitten and attacked for getting into territory he should not have. It was not fun to watch but I was at a loss as to what I could do to help. Is your tank a species only tank?
