Shrimp substrate
What would be the most ideal substrate for a non planted shrimp tank if anything I'm going to just have some java moss and the moss balls. I'm currently using the Fluval shrimp substrate.

What type of shrimp are you planning on keeping? Fluval Stratum works great for most of your standard shrimp. I use it for several of my shrimp tanks.

fluval SS is kinda a hit and miss. I've seen more success with amazonia. I had berried females but not very many if any of the babies ever survived to adulthood with the stratum.
