Daredevil Shrimp! Odd Behavior!

No, this isn't some kind of new shrimp... it's just a normal Red Cherry Shrimp, but this one in particular has quite the character on him/her (assuming it's a her, she's fat).
Found her poking out of the water. I thought she was dead, and just floating on the leaf, but to my surprise, she was right at the water's surface, grazing on algae. Heh. This cherry shrimp as nerves of steel for staying out of the water like that =P What odd behavior.

Granted, I'm pretty sure there was enough water tension to keep her still "fully submerged" but it just looked really cool seeing her so close to the surface like that!

My shrimp will do this too from time to time it's allot of fun to watch!!

Hahaha, good to know that there are other shrimp out there that do the same thing. I was afraid that it would end up jumping OUT of the tank, luckily I have a cover for it.

Yup, mine do that too, given the opportunity; that's a female.
