New Trimac in 75 gallon
Picked this male trimac up from (Addicted2CAs)

He is about 6in.
Great specimen with lots of personality!
I like the idea of having an oddball tankmate in there with him if possible someday though.
Like a Polypterus or a Freshwater eel. Anyone have experience doing that?
Right now there is a one inch convict in with him. The two others disappeared.
What are peoples expericences on having wet pets? I've seen pictures of a lot of people with single red devils and midas.
Post pictures of your wet pets and share some experiences!
Thanks Paul.

Re: New Trimac in 75 gallon
Very nice Trimac!
These guys are pretty much known not to play well with others. Might have difficulty getting him a tankmate that he will not kill. But now is the time to try, before he gets bigger or has established the tank as all his.

He should play nice, he has been with about 20 other grow outs for about a year.

Re: New Trimac in 75 gallon
With a fish used to tankmates it will be easier. I had a little convict who was a 'wet pet' with a tank all to himself and he was a fish that would not take to anything in his tank. Killed multiple bristlenose plecos and a pike that was almost twice as big as him.

Re: New Trimac in 75 gallon
He acted as though my poly didn't even exist, was ok with the polleni and butikoferi after the divider time-out idea that I must thank madness for. The same can't be said for the female tri's in which he hated with a passion!
