Fungal infection?
Just discovered several shrimp in my heavily planted 40 have a white feathery tuft on their rostrum. Same place on all. Haven't been able to get a good photo. The tank is about 3 months old. Heavily filtered. 20% water changes twice a week. Pressurized CO2. Know that fungus outbreaks are typically a water quality issue, but this tanks appears OK. Have been fighting a bit of filamentous algae as I try to get CO2 light and plants balanced. Did a 50% change yesterday anyway. Will do another Saturday. Have some Kordon Rid-Fungus on order. Any ideas or suggestions regarding cause, treatment, etc.?

Hi there,
I'm pretty new to shrimp keeping and not an expert or anything, but I've read that white fuzzy stuff can be parasites. Here're pretty good photos of what they look like: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Hope you get it figured out, good luck.
