House of Hormones
We figured today the house is simply reeking of hormones, 2 pairs of angelfish have laid eggs today and a guppy that we have had for about 3 days randomly gave birth. Was not ready for either of it, all we need is th 3 pairs of kribs and some swordtails to randomly lay/give birth. march 12 is marked in my calendar.

Re: House of Hormones
freckles?? she should have a orange belly if she is a female... it gets super bright when they are in heat, but its definetly orange and always noticeable, well unless she is super young.
is not in heat

Re: House of Hormones
petsmart is flooded with them. People dont usually try to sell them, I used my babies for food... only reason I had them.... I bet if you make a "wanted add for female convict" in here and on craigslist, you will get a few people

Congrats! It must be the time of year. I've seen an increase in activity with my fish as well.

Re: House of Hormones
HAHA no worries on the high jacking, not a serious thread
And for your convicts not breeding that is odd. My only guess from the not breeding and orange specks she might be just young?? though i had seen a female at petsmart about 1.5-2 inches with a batch of fry. Interesting to watch her protect them all from all the other fish for sale.
