Diving back in
I am getting back into the hobby. I had an 80 and 100 gallon tank at my previous house, had the setup for 4 years. After I moved I had huge problems with algae and tank maintenance became a complete nightmare. My new house had a well and figured it was probably a water quality issue and I tossed in the towel. Long story short I came to realize that I dont have a water quality issue and am in the process of setting up a 75 gallon tank.
I was keeping tropheus (duboisi) before making my exit and would like to stock my new tank with tropheus. My tank has been up and running for a couple weeks now, I am still tweaking filtration and setup. Hopefully I can start cycling within a week and purchase a group of tropheus within a month.
Looks like a great forum of active members.

Welcome aboard KlintD.
Whosurdaddi and Gobluecichlids are both avid keepers (and sellers) of Tropheus so you might want to find some of their threads on here when you start to think about stock.

Hey, and Welcome.... Glad to have another tropheus fan on board.... we have a few people with them, a few people that breed, and I know there is itleast 2 more that plan on getting some..... It seems to be a very popular fish these days. Are you gonna go with duboisi again? I personally have had 4 or 5 different variants. Plan on gettin another couple colonys in the next few months.... anyway, let me know if you need anything.... Welcome again

Re: Diving back in
I know there is a group buy that someone is puttin together, but I think they are leaning towards sooner... I probably will push my order back until next month.... my stuff just isnt ready, and I dont have the money to push for it right now.
Morrii are my favorite, I love almost all of them, I think Musunga, illangi, nkonde, kasanga, lufubu, are all so gorgeous its hard to pick a favorite one out of them. anyway, keep checkin the group order section, youll find someone to order with when your ready.

Re: Diving back in
If I can put together about 40 wild tropheus in the group order, I can make it happen.
I think there will be a good chance Musanga, lufubu, mpulungu, bemba, ikola, moliro, chaitika, nsumbu be avail..
Here's a list of fishes that came in last month, there are other fishes on the list you may want to consider..

Ilangi should be gone as usual...
Pickup at my place or at Seatac...
