Your jumping right in. Good for you (thats without smugness). With this size tank you can try your hand at breeding Idotrpheus Sprengerae (rusty) mouth brooders. All you need is 2 piles of rocks on either end of tank with 2 males and 4 to 6 females. You'll have babies in no time. Some of the easiest african mouthbrooders to breeds IMO. Before I gave mine away I would have new babies about every other month. Good luck.

He meant "Pm'd "me" Me being me .. I know my name causes confusion on occasion, but surprisingly not that often Wink

SomethingFishy you need to either get some already cycled filters material from a fellow fish keeper and keep it wet till it's in your filters, or cycle your tank for a couple weeks. As much as I want to sell the fish to you now, I want to make sure it's a positive experience for you. Granted Rusty's are hardy little buggers. The other option if you have the time is do daily 10% water changes for the next couple weeks with the fish in the tank. This will keep your amonia/nitrates down, and the fish will be healthy and happy.

It's cool, I know all too well what it's like to need the fish NOW. As long as you keep up on frequent changes and have a good conditioner like seachem's Prime on hand you should be fine. Again Rusty's are hardy little buggers Mad <---- like that but more cute and always hungry Laughing
